At Dan O Connor Feeds our philosophy is, “In order to get the best performance from animal feed you need to feed the best!” That is why we are continuously improving formulations and using additives which enhance the performance of our feeds

We are servicing over 3000 customers on a monthly basis and manufacturing in excess of 130,000 Tons annually. All customers benefit from the years of experience gained by many staff members, the value of which can never be underestimated.

Dan O’Connor Feeds was established in 1848 in Limerick and moved to its present site on Ballysimon Rd, Limerick City in 1972 and has been continuously upgraded to the highest standard ever since. We have the most sophisticated computer controlled systems, handling and providing traceability of goods, from arrival, through process, and right to delivery on farm.
Here at Dan O Connor Feeds we use top quality ingredients and are backed up by a very experienced Production Team in the Mill and also a highly trained Sales Team of 12 covering 15 counties of Ireland. All our Sales Team undergoes constant training and up skilling in all aspects of Animal Nutrition and are competent in offering advice on a wide range of farming systems. Our priority is looking after the customer every time and in order to achieve this high level of service we have a dedicated Transport Team which look after all logistical issues with a fleet of 30 Trucks from incoming and outgoing goods Dan O'Connor Feeds is accredited by the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS).
  • In order to achieve this European recognised standard, the production facility maintains specific feed safety and quality standards which incorporates a HACCP plan and a complete traceability system, covering all aspects of animal feed production.
  • We provide a full range of animal feeds for the Ruminant sector, from low volume Summer Grazing enhancers to the most intensive of ad – lib winter diets for Dairy, Beef and Sheep.
  • Farmers seeking specific nutritional advice have access to specialist animal requirement and performance software and experienced Animal Nutritionists.
  • This programme takes account of forage quality available on the farm, and produces diet specifications needed for the weight gain or milk yield expected by the customer.
